Bring your circuit to life
Build a line-following robot car while practicing component placement and soldering. Once assembled and adjusted, the car uses light-sensitive components to follow a contrasting dark route.
Choose it for the build
The option is Parts. Soldering and mechanical assembly are required; this is not a ready-to-drive car. The pictured parts include the PCB, electronic components, two motors, wheels, gears, wiring, battery holder and assembly hardware. Arrange soldering tools separately. Batteries are not included.

- LM393 chip and photoresistors for the line-following circuit.

Plan your project
Check component placement and polarity before soldering, then test and adjust the assembled car on a flat surface with a high-contrast route. Track materials shown in demonstrations are not confirmed as included.
